SHIPPING TERMS

These Terms and Conditions govern the shipping fees, returns fees, taxes, customs fees and duties as well as refund policy associated with purchasing products from Amai Amara ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein. Please carefully read and understand the following information before making a purchase.

Order and Shipping Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed, it will include your order number and shipping method. Please make sure your shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are on route to you. Any incorrect address details will often result in the parcel being returned to the sender, in which case you will be charged for re-delivery. Amai Amara will not be responsible for any misplaced or unclaimed parcels by the courier company.

Delivery Time

Orders can take up to 48 hours to be processed and shipped.

Orders will arrive within:

United States 3-7 days 

Europe 3-7 days 

Australia 4-8 days 

Rest Of World 7-10 days

Express options are available however this option will be displayed at checkout as pricing & shipping times are different in each region.

We are not responsible for delays outside of our control. If delivery of the products to you is delayed by an event outside our control (e.g. because of postal/courier delays, logistics or bad weather), we’ll let you know as soon as possible. 

PLEASE NOTE: The times below are estimates given by our couriers. Working days do not include weekends or bank holidays.

Delivery Fee

We offer worldwide free delivery.

TAXES/CUSTOMS/VAT

Responsibility: Customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, and taxes imposed by the customs authorities of the destination country.

Estimation: The estimation of customs fees and duties may vary depending on the laws and regulations of your country. We do not provide exact figures for these fees. It is your responsibility to contact your local customs office or relevant authorities for accurate information.

Delays: Customs processing can cause delays in the delivery of your order. We have no control over these processes, and we cannot guarantee delivery times. Please consider this when placing an order.

International deliveries outside of Australia and the United States may be subject to applicable taxes, VATs and duties which are to be paid by the customer.

You are required to check with your local tax official to see what import duties and/or VAT you are required to pay in your place of residence.

Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, including the recipient's name, delivery address, and other necessary details. Any inaccuracies in this information may result in customs clearance issues and additional charges.

Customs Declaration: We will accurately declare the contents and value of your shipment on the required customs documentation. Falsifying this information is illegal and can lead to severe consequences.

Unpaid Fees: In the event that you refuse to pay the customs fees and duties required to release your order, it may be returned to Amai Amara or else destroyed. You will be responsible for any return shipping costs and fees associated with the return.



RETURNS & REFUNDS

Please return your product after contacting Amai Amara at info@amaiamara.com within 30 days from the date of receiving the order. Products must be returned in a clean and new condition, with all pricing, packaging and brand labels secure. Amai Amara will provide you the return address by sending you an email upon your request.

Please note that customers are responsible to pay the return shipping fee when returning the product unless the product is faulty. We recommend that all returns are sent using a traceable carrier. Amai Amara will not be held responsible for packages not received by us that were returned without a tracking number. Feel free to contact us to help with finding the most cost-effective return courier. 

We reserve the right to accept or reject a returns and refund request at sole discretion. We do not accept requests in the following circumstances:

  • Return/Refund request is made after 30 days from the date of receiving the product
  • Product is used and damaged by the customer
  • Incomplete product 
  • Fraudulent Return/Refund request

Should you receive an incorrect or faulty product please contact us as soon as possible after receiving the product. The product needs to be returned within 30 days. Upon receipt of the returned product we will assess its condition before authorizing a refund or exchange. 

If you receive your product and it has been damaged during shipment, please email us at info@amaiamara.com as soon as possible. Include a description of the damages, and include pictures if possible. This information is extremely helpful to us in making sure that our products are packaged and shipped properly and for your refund to be actioned quickly.

In addition unless the product item is faulty, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fee.

Non-Delivery: If your order is not delivered due to customs issues and is returned to Amai Amara Limited, we will refund the purchase price, excluding shipping costs and any customs-related fees we may incur.

Refund Process

Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and for the credit to appear on your statement. The time taken for the credit to appear may vary depending on your financial institution.

Exchanges

The customer is responsible for the return shipping fee. However Amai Amara will re-deliver your exchanged order free of charge.

Legal Compliance

Compliance: It is your responsibility to comply with the customs laws and regulations of your country. Amai Amara is not liable for any legal consequences resulting from non-compliance.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Amai Amara reserves the right to modify these customs fees and duties terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

By placing an order with Amai Amara, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these customs fees and duties terms and conditions.
